George and Abeer serve persecuted Christians in several countries across the Middle East.
Some of the world’s most dangerous countries for Christians to live are located in the Middle East.
George and Abeer’s primary focus is supporting and discipling persecuted Christians. They walk with believers as they heal from persecution while empowering them to remain bold in their faith in Jesus.
There are over 360 MILLION persecuted Christians in the world!
That means 1 in 7 Christians are persecuted worldwide.
Today, over 4,500 Christians are in prison because of their faith in Jesus.
In 2022, over 5,600 Christians were murdered because they refused to deny Jesus as their Savior.
More than 124,000 Christians have been forced to flee their homes and countries because of their faith in Jesus.
In 2022, over 2,100 churches were attacked.
PRAY – Spend time praying for persecuted Christians all across the world and for George and Abeer as they continue to support and disciple Christians in the Middle East. Use the prayer points on each week’s prayer card as a guide.
