At Silverdale, we are committed to reaching the next generation for Christ. This means more than just offering childcare. It means actively engaging kids and partnering with parents in the adventure of leading kids to worship, grow and serve.
Where do my kids go during the weekend services?
Babies (birth to 18-months) can go to the nursery during every weekly worship services (unless noted otherwise).
Toddlers & Preschoolers (18 Months through 5-years) can go to Preschool Small Groups where they’ll experience crafts, music, games, and practical life applications intended to communicate Bible truths. We also incorporate a large-group story time during each hour.
Kids (k-5th Grade) will want to go to Kids Quest! In Kids Quest, your K-5th grader will enjoy interactive, age-graded Bible study as well as energetic worship.
Where do my kids go on Wednesday Nights?
On Wednesdays at 6:30p during the school year, August through May, on the Bonny Oaks and St. Elmo Campuses, Silverdale presents Awana. Awana is an age-graded ministry for children that teaches practical Biblical principles through interactive experiences and shows them how to use their Bible and apply it to their life.

So, your child wants to be baptized
That is FANTASTIC NEWS! The best next step is for you and your child to meet with Michael Steffey, our Children’s Pastor. (Email him to set up your meeting.) Before you meet, we encourage you to talk with your child about what this step of faith really means. In order to help guide this talk, we are pleased to provide you with this downloadable booklet.
