   Why was Jesus born? Jesus was born to rescue us from sin.
• Key Passage:
  “Today in the city of David a Savior has been born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord.” Luke 2:11 (CSB)
• Story Point:
  God’s Son, Jesus, was born in Bethlehem.
• Christ Connection:
  The birth of Jesus was good news! Jesus was not an ordinary baby. He is God’s Son, sent to earth from heaven. Jesus, the promised Savior, came into the world to show us what God is like and to deliver us from sin and death. God. He healed people and performed other miracles. Eventually, Jesus gave His life by dying on the cross for people’s sin. Only faith in Jesus can save people from their sin.
