This weekend’s Bible Story and Scripture Passage are:
The Emmaus Disciples; Luke 24

The Big Picture Question:
Who saves us from our sin? Only Jesus saves us from our sin.
Key Passage:
"If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 (CSB)
Story Point:
Jesus taught that all the scriptures point to Him.
Christ Connection:
The whole Bible is about Jesus. When Adam and Eve sinned, God began working out His plan to send Jesus to rescue people from sin. All of the Old Testament points forward to Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection—the time when Jesus would bring God’s promised salvation for sinners.
