This weekend’s Bible Story and Scripture Passage are:
Jesus' Crucifixion; Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, John 19

The Big Picture Question:
What did Jesus do to save us? Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead.
Key Passage:
"If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare his own Son but gave him up for us all. How will he not also with him grant us everything?" Romans 8:31b-32
Story Point:
Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sin.
Christ Connection:
Jesus died on the cross and rose again because of His great love for us. He took the punishment we deserve for our sins so we can have forgiveness and life forever if we believe in Him. This is the good news of the gospel!
